Golf Getaways in North Carolina

North Carolina offers travelers an abundance of golf getaways. One of these is the famous Duke University Golf course, which presents golfers with a demanding layout that is good enough to have hosted the NCAA championship, and it is also easy to get time there. The Finley Golf Course is located on the edge of the Chapel Hill campus, and it perennially lands on the list of top 10 college golf courses.
The Lonnie Poole Golf Club is newest course among the North Carolina universities and was designed by Arnold Palmer himself. It is home to the Wolfpack golf teams and also close to downtown Raleigh. However, if you want the full experience of North Carolina mountain gold, you should head to the Mount Mitchell Golf Club. Here you will be surrounded by spectacular views of mountain peaks, as lovely streams gurgle through the layout. This course makes for a wonderful summer escape.
